Jumping for Joy!

Look at this picture of Tamlyn. How was she pictured performing a leap that Nureyev would have proud of? With our fabulous Broncolor short-duration flash we can freeze fast-moving objects with ease – try doing that with a camera phone!

The Joy of Sets.

Constructing room sets for our clients is a breeze; well, for our very own Dean Adams, the fastest nail gun in the west, it is! Dean’s repertoire is boundless – bathrooms, kitchens, a 30m high cigarette in central London and even a complete mock-up village for the Ministry of Defence. Sshh - Top Secret!

Into the Dragon's Den!

Well actually, we had to set up a shoot in Gordon Ramsey's delightful Mayfair restaurant Murano. We were photographing TV dragon Duncan Bannatyne's 40th birthday bash. Among the guests were fellow Dragons Theo Paphitis and James Caan, F1 racing driver David Coulthard and hairdresser Nicky Clarke who arrived with top interior designer Kelly Hoppen.

The dinner for 40 guests was the creation of Murano's Chef Patron Angela Hartnett, who invited The Dragon into her very own kitchen den for a guided tour!

Pictures show Duncan with David Coulthard, Angela Hartnett and Theo Paphitis who just happened to have his car custom painted for "Red Nose" day and a couple of obligatory red noses in his pocket!

Summer Fun.

Here at knight+daines photography we are busy preparing for some of the Studio’s most important annual visitors who are due to fly in around mid April.
Flying all the way from South Africa to enjoy the British summer (hopefully!) the arrival of breeding pairs of swallows are a sure sign that summer’s just a few days away. The special arrangements that we make for these yearly visitors appear to be greatly appreciated, as last year they decided to bring some friends with them.
We’re regularly thrilled by their antics and rarely a day goes by when one or more of these industrious little birds doesn’t pay a flying visit to our photography studio or office.
They’re nesting in the buildings alongside the studio and last year produced four clutches – our picture shows one fledging clutch being fed within a few feet of the office door.
If you’re with us this summer spare a moment to marvel at their speed and work-rate.
It almost puts us to shame!!
